The Vera C. Rubin Observatory, the largest 3200 Mega Pixel digital camera ever built, currently nearing completion in Chile and expected to begin operations in mid-2025, is poised to revolutionize our understanding of the universe.

For the NSF documentary, “Rubin Observatory, the First Light”, I developed supporting visualizations. While exploring creative avenues, some concepts, which are shown below, were later discontinued due to changes in budget and overall project direction.
